Speak to the Expert eForums
Speak to the Expert eForums are live, web-based presentations conducted by industry experts and sponsored by our Strategic Partner product firms. During these sessions, participants are encouraged to interact with the guest speaker. These eForums are offered monthly and often qualify for continuing education credits. The sessions are also recorded for later playback and reference at your convenience.
Quarterly online sessions offer Certified Financial Planners the opportunity to fulfill the CFP Board’s two-hour Code of Ethics Continuing Education requirement.
Case Study eForums
Also held quarterly, these online sessions address the many high-level and complicated financial planning situations advisors may encounter when working with clients.
The two-hour (Level 300) sessions feature an interactive format and qualify for CFP continuing education credits. Topics include retirement, employee benefits, estate planning, investments, income tax, insurance, small business owners, divorce and much more. The sessions are also recorded for later playback and reference at your convenience.

Our in-house Research Team also conducts monthly calls on a variety of economic, investment strategy, and asset class topics to ensure that you are current on all issues.
In addition to live and recorded technology and training sessions that are offered whenever the firm introduces new programs, enhancements and technology systems, Advisor Group regularly provides ongoing training that assists its affiliated advisors—and their staffs—in all key areas of their practices.
This three-day course of live classroom instruction is designed for an administrative assistant, advisor or FLS/ME affiliated with the Advisor Group broker-dealers whose business is brokerage, non-brokerage or fee-based. The class provides the practical, hands-on training needed to help streamline and simplify daily tasks. Attendees will receive instruction on how to navigate through the integrated online platforms that we offer.
Financial Services Assistant Training
Designed to meet the needs of licensed and unlicensed financial services assistants through live, hands-on classroom instruction and supplemental pre- and post-online self-study, this workshop explores the systems, concepts and tasks used to successfully process business activities. After the first two days of live sessions, attendees can participate in supplemental classroom sessions also geared toward assistants that cover the Wealth Management platform and/or our Document Management System.
The Coaching program we make available offers powerful systems and customized advice to help manage and market a practice more efficiently and effectively. This one-year program is offered by the Academy of Preferred Financial Advisors (formerly Million Dollar Producer)—one of the industry’s most successful programs for advisors who operate high-level practices. Participants will benefit from the special emphasis on systematizing all aspects of client management and the focus on tax, estate and wealth planning techniques and will learn how to build a lasting fee-based financial planning business.
Financial Planning Fast Track
Financial Planning Fast Track is an on-site accelerated educational program, offered in conjunction with Metropolitan State College of Denver, which prepares you to take the examination for the Certified Financial Planner™ designation in just seven months. The curriculum addresses the six financial planning subject areas that satisfy the education component of the CFP® process and thoroughly prepares you for the exam.

The W Forum
Advisor Group offers an annual event exclusively for female advisors and their assistants called the W Forum. Wealth Management Symposium
